Call for Trainee Reviewers!

September 14, 2021 7:00 AM | Larry Levi (Administrator)

The IMBES Trainee Board seeks to create opportunities for graduate students and post docs to develop career skills.  If you are interested in developing your writing or building your resume this is an excellent way to gain peer feedback and have your writing shared with the research community.  Starting Fall 2021, the IMBES trainee board seeks Trainee Reviewers to summarize one of the articles in the recent Mind, Brain, and Education (MBE) journal edition for distribution through our social media and website. The MBE journal publishes peer-reviewed articles addressing neuroscience, cognitive and behavioral questions that are relevant to the field of education.

For this initiative, Trainee Reviewers can select an article based on their expertise or interest in the MBE journal issued August 2021. Selected reviews will be spotlighted and posted on our website and Twitter.

Submission will open September 14 and will close Oct 31 for the third quarter issue of the MBE journal. A review or summary should be a maximum 1000 words.  Please also create a Twitter post teaser to invite readers to your full review on the website.  Submissions will be selected based on scholarly summaries/reviews that are engaging and informative in a short format.

Please send submissions to: traineeboard@imbesociety.org.
